Acupuncture
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture has been effectively practiced for over 3000 years
This ancient Asian art of medical healing has successfully treated many common health conditions and is now thoroughly researched and evidence-based.

Acupuncture is a proficient modality accomplishing a natural alternative for pain treatment while supporting physical and emotional well-being.

During treatment, our skilled and licensed acupuncturist inserts hair-thin needles into specific energy points in the body.

Why Acupuncture?
Activating acupuncture points can stimulate the central nervous system, which releases healing chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. These biochemical changes help stimulate the body's natural healing abilities.

Research has shown that acupuncture may be helpful for several conditions, including but not limited to:
-
Pain (muscular, joint, or nerve)
-
Incontinence or overactive bladder
-
Stress, anxiety, or depression
-
Gut imbalances
-
Fatigue
-
Headaches
-
Insomnia
-
Hormonal imbalances
Our Acupuncturists enjoy taking the time to address any health concerns that are most important to you.

Facial Acupuncture
A Natural Way to Look Your Best
Facial acupuncture is trending right now as people look for more natural approaches to deal with skin elasticity and tone.

By stimulating collagen production, facial acupuncture helps people look and feel better. This session combines a complete body treatment with facial points for a comprehensive session. It includes facial massage, cupping, gua sha and red light therapy.
-
Facial acupuncture uses many (20-30) small needles in the face
-
Body points will be needled first to "anchor the Qi" so that you don't get too much Qi going to the head all at once - these body points are also healing points to address deficiencies and concerns
-
Facial acupuncture works but is best as part of a total lifestyle regime to keep your skin glowing and your body healthy - everything you do to bring health to your body shows on the face
